Jennifer Tilly is a Los Angeles native who was born in poor conditions on September 16th in 1958. Her mother, a failed actor and schoolteacher, sold cars while her dad was an auto salesman. Jennifer was the second child from her extended family. She frequently took her mother who worked as a teacher at school, to theater performances. Jennifer found her performance remarkable. Jennifer's divorce occurred after she reached the age of five. Jennifer spent the bulk of her life living in British Columbia, after her mother relocated there with their four children. Jennifer did not consider herself a artist, even though she was an artist when she was a child. When she was in Canada, she was the target of bullies frequently. As her interest in theatre diminished in high school she started taking part in shows with her mother. All of her children were motivated by their mothers to pursue a love for art. She then immediately started to act.
